Was that with the ignition on, or off?? Either the pump is duff, or maybe it has a fuse blown, depends how it's supposed to work I suppose??
The compressor in my GT has an inline switch (nasty, rotary thing) which may be missed if you're not looking for it.

I keep 2 spare's in the car and a repair kit due to the nature of my work and the times I travel I need to be able to get to work with as little hassle as possible, one spare is a space saver the other is a full size spare. If like the other day when I did have a problem and had a blow out on the M4 I got someone in to do it rather than use my spares up but I was heading home and in no rush
Where do you keep a full size spare? I didn't think the wheel well was large enough to hold one?
It is shocking that little switch. I think it's knackered, so I might just buy a replacement comressor. £10-20 its worth it and better than the original.
Sounds like it could be the way to go??
