They're not physically stuck - I can move them by hand. All other Sport thingies seem to be working ok.

Any thoughts, folks?

If all the electronics check out it's almost certainly a problem with the vacuum system. Either the pipes from the solenoid to the valves have come off or melted through or the pipe from the vacuum tank to the solenoid has come off or got holed. Also, have a look at the connections on the solenoid and get someone to press the sport button whilst you are listening to or touching the solenoid to see if you can hear/feel a click as it operates.

Thanks Ben.

The pipes seem sound but it's too hot for a proper look. I gave them a quick jiggle back and forth and they came back to life when I started next. Odd. Once things have cooled down fully I'll have a proper explore and give the mechanism a squirt of WD40 and see if that encourages things along. I can't have it in stealth mode for Silverstone, FFS!

Are you at Silverstone this weekend by any chance? I have a standard centre section for you if you still want to borrow it.

If they are stuck closed then it's the valves themselves as the system is designed to fail open. Unfortunately mate I'm not, but if anyone from the Manchester area wants to take It off you I'll get it from them.
