Well after two years of owning my 4200 I have just had its second MOT and it passed again without a single item requiring attention, who says Maserati are expensive to look after, in two years it has cost me £1400. As a treat she is getting some Anthrasite wheels this week and having door mirrors respayed. Pics to follow shortly. Now I have posted this the car will probably fall apart next week!

Apart from an F1 pump on the 4200 ( in 5 years) and a clutch on the GS ( in 3 years ) my experiences have been pretty much the same excepting the tinsle and upgrading bits , basic maintence has been a very enjoyable experience

I had a clutch go pop on the GS, but apart from that (Maserati paid half) I am trying to remember anything that went wrong?

The biggest issue was people kept bumping me at roundabouts, but thats hardly the cars fault.

Think I replaced the handbrake shoes. All the other money I spent on her was fettling, mods etc.

2. Bushes on front lower arm
3. Rear hub needed changed
4. Handbrake repair
5. Sorting the boot leaks

Sorry if thats looking like a lot guys....

Usual servicing, brakes all changed to 550/GGs

Wheels refurbed, H pipe and STR* throughs pipes
