Thanks!

Aren't these type of seats supposed to be a little dangerous these days (not Maserati ones but general)?

I have two of these.......I think my youngest will be out of it soon.....Let me see how high he is and weight and if he can come out of it I'll let you know. Don't think Maserati make these any more and just so you know they where only about £27 with postage new so don't pay too much for one.

Issue was on the news recently relating to how the head flops around if not supported. We used Mercedes Kidfix as it could be adjusted when ours were that age. "seat's backrest is infinitely adjustable to the angle of the car's seats and features an integral spacer. The headrest is adjustable in eleven stages to suit requirements." Exepnsive but very good.

At 18 they still sleep in the car (usually after a few beers) so now i drop the middle headrest in the QP :)

Backless booster seats are only approved for use for children taller than 125cm and weighing more than 22kg from March 17 onwards.

Personally, law or not, I'd be avoiding them if at all possible. - edit to be clear - I'd be looking for one with a back instead.

Does anyone know if maserati sell a child seat suitable for 2-5 year olds which dont cost a fortune?

Hi buddy, sorry but my she who must be obeyed has said we need both at the moment.......Don't thing my youngest will need it for much longer....once I don't need them I'll give you a shout and if you still want one you can have it for free....Wouldn't want anything fo it as they were only £19 new just that Maserati charged half of that again for postage.....

Don't forget new laws on the use of booster seats come in soon, next month I believe.
You won't be able to use a backless booster seat until they are much taller, 125cm I think

Good point Mike.

Just checked and he's fine, 132cm tall and 26kg so within the new limits.
