Wanted (on loan) Older Apple Phone

My partners Mercedes SLC has connectivity to Apple Carplay via a tethered Apple Phone, however we have only ever used Samsung.

Does anyone have an old unused Apple phone in the attached link, with the app installed, that I could borrow to see if it works properly before buying the latest compatible one?

I have a spare iPhone 7 that is clear and back to factory settings. If that’s any good for your needs you are welcome to borrow it. Then if you wanted to buy it in due course, that would okay as well.

Rob can help with iphone 5 - you can borrow as long as required but he will want it back eventually as it is part of his collection!! - We could probably drop it off tomorrow. (We also have access to an old SE and I have the new version)

Rob's checked it - its 10.3.4 so all good. PM re collecting,etc - hopefully we are going to Fair Oaks to collect something special this week
