Hi All,

I've discovered that my drivers side windscreen washer nozzle is not working due to the feed pipe being disconnected just under where it meets the spray head. You can see the water being pumped out but under the plastic cover on the bulk head.

My question is to ask has anyone ever taken this plastic housing off - its not readily apparent how to get into it?

Any help would be appreciated

Jason.

Not done the QP's but I have done the coupe.

It should be straight forward.

First I would imagine you will have to remove the wiper arms. There should be a nut under the cover where the arm meets the spline. Next open the bonnet and pull the weather strip to probably reveal the fixings. The rest should be fairly self explanatory.

The wiper arms do need a bit of wiggling to get them off due to the tension off the arm spring pushing on the screen. Also, before removing put some tape on the screen to mark where the wiper blades should sit.

Have you taken the washer nozzle out itself? Two second job with a screwdriver to prize them off. You might be lucky and be able to fish the pipe out of the hole. Tw rubber is fairly pliable so with some long nose pliers you might get lucky.

The plastic tray requires removal of the wiper arms. That is fairly easy, remove the rubber covers on them that bolt to the motor armature. Then unscrew, lots of screws. LOTS of screws. Be aware the clips that the screws go into are... for lack of a better word, ****. Hopefully all of them make it and/or none fall off. I have one or two that were broken before I got the car.

While you are in there you may want to take off the air intake pre-filter to blow out the stuff stuck in it and clean out the leaves etc from the area around it.

Sorted Now

Cheers for the help, I bottled it and paid a local body shop £20 to do it for me. All Sorted.
