Water leak but not coolant related

Hello,

My 3200 seems to have developed a water leak. It's not coolant as I have tasted it and it's not sweet and clear.
The amount is around 300-400 ml when the car is stopped, but drips continuously when the engine is running.
I know air con systems drip, but that's quite an amount.
Any ideas?
Thanks Jon

Just thinking logically about it - if it isn't screen washer fluid ( which wouldnt be affected by engine on/off status) and it's not coolant...its going to be aircon discharge, as there is nothing else....
Ive noticed copious amounts this year too, and not just from my 4200....

If it's near the centre of the car at the rear of the engine ,then probably is from Aircon and nothing to worry about.

It’s been quite humid the past few days so I think that will add to the air con drip

Partially blocked aircon discharge so it builds up in use and when stopped you can then collect a fair amount??

It is very humid at the moment, this means more water is condensed on the evaporator and so comes out of the drain. When I worked in air con this would be the point every year when drains overflow, it’s surprising how much can be produced. I’d say it’s working properly.

Does your aircon blow actual cold air? Then likely drips from condenser as wise man ^^ said above.
Do check scuttle for leaf sludge blockage. Only black 3200 I had to look hard, and only found the blockage by poking finger into decomposed leaves. Should see line of holes close to hing mount points.

I forget some of you have seen rain.
I think it's forgotten how here in East Angles....
That's where I'm from, Just outside Norwich. It's definitely not a blocked scuttle. I'm on holiday so will get her on some ramps and check her over when I'm back
