weird issue qp V 2011

the last few weeks i have had trouble with my maserati quattroporte 4.7S(facelifted version). electrical problems are an headache, especially in exotic Italian cars. The problem with the qp is complex and does not occur very often. The precise problem is that the rev counter drops to 0(only the rev meter drops the car is fine and drives normaly as if there is no problem) as this happens al the warning lights turn on. The car drives completely normal as this happens, stil it is very annoying. as it is not my car i cannot confidently name a pattern as of when this problem occurs, though it seems to be only happening when beating the car, meaning high revs and hard breaking. when driving normaly the car acts normal and there are no issues.

to resolve the issue the mechanics have replaced: battery, improved and replaced the ground cabble of the car, checked most of the obvious connectors and sensors. the car has been to specialists whom also said check the connectors if something might be lose. It could also be due to a falty or badly connected camshaft sensor. Though this could be the problem i would like to hear some suggestions from other people who might have experienced this issue. a camshaft sensor replacment is an eyewateringly expensive job.

I would love to hear what you guys think or have to suggest because i am out of ideas for a sollution. thanks in advance and have a nice day.
