He certainly is Andy, TBH, I'm still a bit gobsmacked about the whole thing. However, he has left his offer in place but he is working on something else for Ryan's amusement. Watch this space

Brilliant, Ryan's a lucky lad.

Personally speaking, and this may mean I am a worse person that Ryan, I would jump at the chance. He sounds like a level headed lad and I dare say the owner isnt going to let him take it out to wine bars in Alderly Edge...and I would think that he wants to have an accident just as much as the owner wants him to i.e. not at all! As a result, I'm sure he'd drive very sensibly. Maybe a bash in the 612 for starters?

I was luck enough to be offered a drive of some lovely cars years back (not that ilk, but a 2 year old 550 etc) and when I said I wasnt keen, the owner said to me, similar to above "you probably want to smash it up as much as I want you to smash it up". I did drive the 550 (and others) and while I didnt rag them, I still go to feel what they felt like while remaining sensible. Benny, I'm sure if you were his passenger, you'd keep him sensible. I dont know of any other lad Ryan's age being give such a fantastic opportunity.

Ps - even given the above, I'm not sure I'd drive the Zonda/classic Ferrari's but Ryan must be touched that he has been offered the chance.

Woody, believe me he is. Half of him is screaming "Do it, do it" the other half says "no, don't you dare!". The 275 has been raced at Le Mans and the 'ring and I'll bet virtually every second of its life is documented somewhere and just about the same for the Zonda. He appreciates the history involved and doesn't want to be responsible for writing another chapter! It kind of highlights the sort of lad he is as he would rather have the 275 to the Zonda, how many teenagers would say that? An awesome turn of events.
