Sometimes just happens like that. I think Bosch S5 usually best from my experience and 5 year warranty.

New battery fitted and all seems well. Impressed with service from Tayna

Took her to Makro. Thrilling, but also (following a discussion in the other place) watched how long it took for the transmission temp to reach 'normal' on the gauge.

Anyone want to take a punt?

...similarly, I had to move the Coupe so I thought, "heck, I'll just crank her up and idle her over a few feet without waiting."

CEL. Misfire on 1 and 5.

Checked things...cleared code...started up and got the needle off 0 on the temp gauge...and, as you'd say over yonder, "result!"

Took her to a new years day meet in Sturminster Newton, all sorts there and then a drive through the Dorset countryside to Henstridge airfield, but as we didn't find out a out it till yesterday we were a bit late, but still nice to get her out while no salt on roads.

As we are still in pieces, awaiting a replacement heater core from Brassworks, decided to detail some pieces. Half dozen or so passes with the leather cleaner and conditioner and she’s freshened right up. Handbrake leather boot was harboring crumbs and dust from the past two decades in its folds!
Perhaps the heater core delay is a blessing in disguise. This kind of work is quite satisfying in its simplicity.

Started it up... 1987 2,5 injection Spyder have been outside for a week now covered while I build my own snowblower inside the garage. Oslo has experienced its coldest and snowiest winter in over 100 years. Global warming my ***...... i have to say, the sound of this thing still stirs my heart. Let me know if someone has someparts for it. It is missing a few things.
