I was on holiday last week and spent three days in Italy (Sicily, Naples to Pompei, then Rome). I didn't see any Maseratis, at all!
I only saw two Ferraris (within two minutes of each other in Central Rome) - a head-turning red Testarossa and a more discreet black 599, which blended in with the traffic.
The narrow streets, plethora of scooters and the horn-blowing driving 'approach', all perhaps played a part in the dearth of exotica.
I must admit to being a little disappointed. Perhaps I would have had more joy further north, nearer some of the Alpine passes.
Has anyone had any better luck in Maser spotting in Italy ?
