So, here are some of mine. In no particular order and with a few still to come if I can find the photos !

Feel free to move the post if there's another similar!

you have upset marci making her a year older than she is Athol:saifi3:
no pics for mine........those I did have pics of went down with my computer when it went bang along with nearly 8k other pics :( hence why I now triple store pics.
stand outs for my history were a mkIII 2ltr cortina, volvo 480 turbo, corrado 2ltr 16v.........have had many others in between but those 3 left their mark on enjoyment of driving in different ways.

Isuzu Piazza Turbo Andy? I had one of those many years ago. Turbo charges Bedford Midi (van) engine. Mine blew up spectacularly. Proper film stuff with emulsified oil and water blown over the screen from under the bonnet.

Sorry about that Greg. She doesn't look her age so it's a moot point anyway!

I have a few more pics and am on cars 36+37 right now. Not quite at Phil's level but still a decent addiction nonetheless.

Always liked the Isuzu despite thinking it being a funny looking car.

Looks like some nice cars were owned over the years, especially like the Fords, Lotus and Alfa's.

For some reason I can never get excited about the BMW's. I have driven quite a few and can appreciate them but ......

My first car at 16 was a 2CV4, a non-runner and rare in South Africa. Took 10 years to get it going, but that's another story.
2nd car was a Mini Clubman Estate, which got pranged avoiding an out-of-control Jaguar in a rain storm.
3rd car was a 2CV van, or AK400 to be precise. Got t-boned one night on ,my way back from work, so took the engine and gearbox out and stuffed it into the original 2CV and used that again for a few years until a friend pranged it. We're still friends.
First new car was a 1996 VW Citigolf - a South African peculiarity. It's essentially a Mark 1 Golf that has undergone years of upgrades and slight styling details and was finally killed off three or four years ago due to, I think, new legislation.
Next was a 1985 Porsche 928S with 80 000km on the clock in 2000. Still have it and it now has 447 000km.
Then things went mad and I rapidly accumulated:
1964 Mercedes-Benz 300SE W112 Fintail
1964 Mercedes-Benz 220S Fintail
1964 Mercedes-Benz 300SE Coupe
1966 Mercedes-Benz 230SL Pagoda
1967 Mercedes-Benz 200 Universal Station Wagon
1968 Mercedes-Benz 600 'Grosser'
1978 Mercedes-Benz 450SEL 6.9
1982 Mercedes-Benz 280SL R107
Some of the above cars were runners, some neat, some needed restoration. Eight years ago I sold the Pagoda (rue the day), 600, Universal and 300SE Coupe to raise money for a business. Made money on every one and kept the rest.
I have now added to the collection a 230S Fintail historic racer, 1991 W124 Mercedes-Benz 500E, 1994 Mercedes-Benz 300CE-24 Cabriolet, 1968 Mercedes-Benz 300SEL 6.3 (current racing project), 1994 Audi RS2 Avant, 1991 Mercedes-Benz 560SEC, 1970 Citroen DS20, 1971 Citroen SM, 1972 Citroen SM.

August last year the 2007 QP came along.

And on Saturday I bought a 1970 300SEL 6.3.

I think I need help.....

993 turbos are the best cars i've owned. The prices are now crazy with decent ones starting at 80k ! I frequently remind the wife that I sold the last one for £36.5k and it would now be close to 100k. All because she wanted a new house. (Ok, so I did too!).

If my numbers come in, it's the first thing I will buy.

I nearly bought a 959 for £85k about 10 years ago too but she talked me out of that too.
