Considering changing my car after 14 months of enjoyment....

Its a May 2009 GT S with 11,500 miles, I have just put two years extended warranty and two new rear tyres, in very good condition, what do you think its worth trade/private?

Nero Carbonio
Nero leather with yellow contracting stitching
Neptune wheels with yellow Callipers

Depends on exact spec but I would say early to mid 60s. The low mileage and the warranty make it attractive. I'm sure more experienced minds will be along shortly to offer good opinions.

It's worth £25 and a bag of cheesy wotsits. Please let me know how you want paying and I'll sort it. Collect Saturday?

Spec looks good. Pretty much the same as mine but 5 months newer, 8k miles less and with 12 months more warranty. From a dealer I paid high 50s with a strong trade-in on my old car, if that helps. And no cheesy snacks involved in the deal at all. Give Dicky Grace or Nareman (Nuvola London) a shout for a professional opinion.

£50/52k trade (extended warranty worth nothing if you sell in the network, be careful with the paperwork if you sell to an independent retailer) and £54/56k private (warranty transfers) IMHO. Great looking car, colour, miles etc.

There are a couple of similar ones on AutoTrader, both trade, selling for around 60 / 62k, so early 50s to sell to a dealer sounds about right. Interesting that the warranty cannot be transferred via an indie dealer. so effectively any residual extended warranty is of no value; do I understand that correctly? Any idea how much cost dealers normally assume they will carry to cover final prep, warranty etc?

You're right, it does look good. Would have taken a close look if I hadn't alrady bought mine!

I understand that the Maserati warranty transfers between owners unless the car goes to a Maserati dealer. If someone with an extended warranty could look at the paperwork then we might understand better how I works selling to another dealer.

Thanks guys, I have decided to keep the Maserati for a bit longer, I don't think I am ready to give up the sound track just yet....

Good choice! Remember they sell best February through June like all halo cars.
