Is there not a spare one in your locking wheel nuts container; when they remove a standard one and fit the item to your car that's where they place the 4 spares.

I've got a set of Maserati locking nuts for a Ghibli knocking about somewhere. Bought them directly from Maserati as you are right - they don't provide them with their cars!
