mines was rhd and midnight blue..............still find myself looking in the rearview sometimes when I hit 45 no matter the car expecting to see the spoiler coming up....doh!

if memory serves, it was meant to replace the 944 originally. yes agree, I still have a soft spot for these cars.

Wasn't that just for the UK/US market though? Originally I think they were set to 75mph/120kmh, which is a tad awkward in the lands of speed limits

Oh now I'm conflicted Phil. For most Deutschewagons I'd be happy for them to end up amongst the pond life, but not a Beetle. So many fond memories of my fluorescent pink Dub come flooding back...
