Morning

Im alive but as usual swamped with work so the 2008 I bought last year has just hit 20K miles and Im about to add 500 driving south for some work thing but a chance to take her on a nice long run.

Im contemplating a drive to France with my son in Sept (Anyone want to join they can probably going to go Bordeaux) which is about 1700 miles round trip roughly.

Thus before end of the year Ill have put 9k miles on her already and obviously don't want to keep that up, whats the mileage point where its not cost effective to keep her, or I just pay the loan off and enjoy the **** out of her for years to come like I did with the porsches (8 years and put 60K miles on)

That's what I'm doing. My car's tremendous fun and it makes more economic sense to keep it and keep running up the miles than spending an extra £15k to get a newer one with fewer miles... which I only go and run up again. We're off on a 2.5k mile trip this summer and it's what the car was made for. Can't wait. It'll be on over 40k by the time we get back, and it's looking good for it.

Anyway, glad to hear you're keeping well. Looking forward to reports on how much you enjoy piling on the miles.

Around £300 should see you a step closer to aural heaven. What I like about these cars is the broad flexibility in case you fancy something a bit new. Fancy a different sound? There's a button for that? A better different sound? x-pipe. Even more noise? Larini or similar will see you straight. Different look and feel? Spacers. A bit more of a sporty stance? You can lower it a touch. A world of possibilities awaits! And the more you do, the less you want to sell it. Happy days.

That's they way for me too. I was happy to buy mine with 50k on the clock as it had the correct history, the spec I wanted and I bought from a reputable indie (Nuvola) who I could trust

Just drive and enjoy I would say
