That's very cool! There are similar clam-shell style hangers for light aircraft at Geneva airport, but I've never seen these powered versions for cars.

A friend of mine is an electrician and was called out to repair someone's "garage door" when he arrived he knocked on the door and asked where the garage was. The owner said "you're standing on it". When they got it open, two Maseratis and an MG were stored one on on top of the other. He didn't know models.
Sounds exactly like the one in the pic.
