Keep my eyes open on lots of car,s as one does...note that the Aston V8 Vantage have slipped below the £35k mark now...are they not £100k new?

About the same as a 05-06 GS.

Think early ones were around 80k ... Still a great car for 35k ... A few did dip to 35k a year or so ago when things were tough but they went back up to above 40k.

Thought they were about £80-85K new Safrane? Though more for the soft top. Still, £35K is tempting.......

Ditto - do love an Aston, but agree can be a costly maintenance. i would never have an Aston, dont like them at all, cheap nasty ford switches, even get them in the Vanquish, DB9 etc, Just never warmed to the Astons, they sound good but that's it, i dont think they are particularly a good looking car either.

dont like them dem, the V8 Vantage is nice but the DB9 looks dated and the DBS is nice but would have a 599 everytime.

Very nearly bought a DB9 at the weekend. £40k for a lovely one but just didn't set my pulse racing, not nearly as good as a GS I'm afraid. PAying for the brand not for quality. It was an 04/54 and looked like a 10 year old Maserati! Gonna get a GS or QP asap...
