I have gone ALL of 2022 without setting foot in a WalMart or any of their connected brands...! Woo hoo!

Did 2100 KMS in 13 years….
And yes, that is absurd and maybe even criminal.
But it is our 5th car and it has to compete with more practical cars and a SL500 roadster during summer.
Apart from that, this Gransport is low mileage, a quite rare black/Cuio full leather/carbon version, in mint condition.
And I want to keep it that way to be honest.
But I am looking for a nice Granturismo now, to put some miles on in the future.
They are much less rare and maybe because of that, very good value for money at the moment.
You are not, by any chance, related to Urby @urbanmaser are you?

We are all impermanent. As are our cars. Drive em til someone's wheels fall off, is my motto!

Excuse the dust! Mine is a daily but I haven’t put anywhere near as many miles on as I’d have liked this year. A couple of niggly issues prevented any decent seat time. With the dreaded wheel bearing replaced, and some more preventative maintenance pencilled in for Feb/March, the plan is to try and do a road trip to Italy (discussions with the domestic line manager are ongoing). That’ll hopefully get me closer to the 50k threshold where I’ll have a choice, keep or sell.

To offer you an alternative opinion, I actually think that you can get more from your cars if you don't use them too often.

When I bought my Alpine, it was supposed to be my daily driver as it was comfortable and economical, but in reality it wasn't working so I bought myself a big ol' Lexus to use as the daily.

The Lexus has actually enhanced my experience with the Alpine because my memory of how good it is fades and therefore I have a big contrast between the two.

An analogy I use is that it's like having a biscuit with your tea, if you eat all the biscuit at once it isn't as good, but if you alternate between having some biscuit then some tea to refresh the pallet then when you go back to the biscuit it tastes so much better.

When I get a Stradale, I'm going to have my tea, biscuit and a scone.
