Thought I'd relay some good news!
After my window regulator failed recently I have finally got the car back. It was 2 weeks to get the part from Italy and the fitting was done in a further day. HOWEVER, as one fault was fixed another occurred whilst at the Main Dealer. The multi-plug was disturbed during the work leading to the air-bag light showing. After three more visits to remedy this I now have the car back in my garage. I did get a bit fed up travelling 30 miles on a bus each time I had to leave it with them. The dealer did offer to collect the car in their covered truck. I declined this as I didn't want my poxy neighbours thinking my car was being repossessed! Another upside was that all this was done under warranty - i.e. Warrantywise who have caused a few on here to complain.
[I still think it's poor that the regulator failed in the first place on a such a low mileage car]
