Do haulage firms all re-tyre their hgv’s?
There's a set on eBay 20" Astro 8.5 & 10.5 with 37.5 & 52 offsets. Would these be compatible with my car. Are they all the same stud fixings?
EBay item number is 182780217480.
Thanks
Ian.
GT wheels are fully compatible with the QP ones, and with the 380 brakes you should be able to run 19” since the 4.7s models have that brake set-up and came standard with the 19”. And experts say that a softer ride is better in rainy conditions, so you actually would be better of with the 19”.
20" GTS alloys on my QP and they fit perfectly, and I also run 295 section on the rear with no clearance issues

Haha - yes good pointOn the (US) Maserati-life forum, ErikDiSomma is running 325’s on 19” so 295 should fit. However, I was under the impression that you were looking for winter tyres, so unless you want to take up sleighing, stick to the 285
That's crazy. You're causing an imbalance, there is not reason why the fronts could not lose tractions and it's game over. I'd urge you to change them too.
I am loving my Pirrelli SottoZeros on my 2009 4.2 QP.

Been running CrossClimate2's on our E39 for just over a year, very happy with them (admittedly, I don't ask of them what I ask my tyres to do on the QP).Definitely time to revive this thread, as winter is coming.
Looks like it is going to be hard to get some 19-in Sottozeros for my QPV. Nobody seems to have any winter tyres in stock that are close to what I want.
Nearest I have seen is this at National:
Does anyone have secret stash of SZs?
