That looks like fun indeed.
Before global warming they used to run an ice circuit in Chamonix Back in the easy-going '80s and '90s they allowed you to take your car onto the circuit for a small fee. They also did instructed sessions in their cars for FF200 per hour. That was brilliant fun; pure ice (no snow cover) and RWD, a recipe for smiles.
I would love to try a frozen lake.
I see Google Maps is suggesting 20 hours to Stockholm. How far north do you go?
