Wiper Arm Clip... £30??

Just noticed one of my wiper arms on the GS is missing a clip... I believe this is the offending part 383300299

It's £30, what am I missing? Do I really, really need it?

Thanks. For £30 I was expecting it to reduce my aerodynamic drag co-efficient, make my car faster or something to warrant the markup on this clip that surely costs pennies to manufacture.

They are a pain... mine get broken every time someone else cleans the car so I ask garages not too... but I still have two busted ones now... and just one spare which I hope to get 3D printed.

I was just asking about this over here in the US. I have one and don't need to spend $30 for another. But, my question is what is their intended purpose ? Extra support to hold the wiper to the windshield when at speed ?

I would like to get another (but not for $30) - the car does seem to veer to the the side without one. Must be the reduced air resistance.

Either get aero twin wipers or an appropriately placed cable tie will get you through the interim.

Would be useful if someone could 3D print them locally
