It is a US CDN spec vs Euro Spec thing, but bear in mind that cars with US spec emissions gear were sold in Europe.
There are two part numbers, one is for US CDN and has three bolts if you look at images, the other is not US CDN and has two holes. The two part numbers below are the only ones listed for this component.

The three hole pipe will be very close to a euro spec manifold and will not allow the heat shield to fit.
Personally, I’d swap the casing over on the pump to keep it how it should be. If not, be very sure of the welder (back purging etc) as a bit of welding slag will make a big mess very quickly.
I was wondering instead of trying to weld the 3 hole triangular end from the new pipe to my old pipe, would it work if i just cut the pipe(more or less in half) and get some high temperature silicon pipe and jubilee clips and join it that way?
I know it a bit heath Roberson but i wonder if it would work. hmmm
