1972 Maserati Bora - Reader Resto
We all know boredom and a little spare cash can lead to trouble. Here's a good example

Stuff the Countach. I loved Boras when I was a kid (still do). Saw one for sale at Le Mans classic but it didn't sell at the auction. 1970s at their best.1972 Maserati Bora - Reader Resto

I saw that too at the LMC. Do we know what it was bid to, obvs without selling?Stuff the Countach. I loved Boras when I was a kid (still do). Saw one for sale at Le Mans classic but it didn't sell at the auction. 1970s at their best.
Sorry no idea. I was/ am not pecunious enough for it to matter to me.I saw that too at the LMC. Do we know what it was bid to, obvs without selling?
I know it's sad isn't it. I'm not wealthy either, but am now comfortable and old enough, having a "well paid" job for the first time in my life mid-40s, to know that if I'd managed the equivalent mid 30s, even adjusted for inflation, I could have had one before the last silly boom. Or a Khamsin. Or an Espada/ Jalpa / Countach (at a push. I remember them below 50k not that long ago). Testarossa.... 308.... Dino... Montreal...Sorry no idea. I was/ am not pecunious enough for it to matter to me.
