Hi All,

Getting use to this site and posted my enquiry in the wrong area previously.

Hope you are all well and keeping safe.

I have a 4200 that’s got Xenon headlights and looking to replace them due to poor performance, left hand side dim and right hand side brighter but slightly different colour. I am assuming down to being replaced at different times.

Can anyone tell me which type I should be ordering?

Would these fit for instance...
D2C/D2S 6000K Xenon HID Light Bulb

or would I better converting to LED?
Hope you can help.
Danny.

Yes Xenon's should be fine. Non Xenon's are not good on the 4200. Do you have washers on the bumper under the lights?

If you look inside the headlight inspection cover in located in the wheel arch , you will see the silver rectangular xennon pack if they are xennons , if its not there , then just replace the bulbs for both sides

Agreed if a genuine straight car , but dont forget a lot of these cars ove the years have been played about with Light /bumper changes , ive seen cars with xennons had bumper changes who have elected to replace with a standard bumper due to the cost of replacing the headlight washers , another £1000 on top ................hopefully its a straight unfettered car

Definitely Xenons. Any idea what lamp type I should be using to replace?
