Bloody ****. I log off at night, come back in the morning and there is more useful stuff than a years worth of Metro paper.
I am looking at both options now and will be visiting near and far to try them out. New quest begins today!
I am looking at Lance's car and a couple of DS ones. Fingers crossed, I will be able avoid gazumping this time!
Thanks again to all here for being a 1 million lumen guiding light. :)

I would be looking at Mark's Gransport if I were you but I guess if you have a Lexus you might need another "Barge" to replace it with! :)

Yes Phil. I have to go the barge route. Kids are still a bit of a handful to settle down sometimes. But that is one cracking car to have! It should be gone by now.

I will say that the QP handles really well and if you need 4 doors you will not feel short changed over a GS........

Hi Adam. I do not think an apology is in order and and I shall not accept it. What happened was circumstantial and can happen to anyone in any sphere of life. No one on here is responsible at all for this and may be something good will come out of this soon ;).

The duo select gives as stated, a dry sump engine, and rear mounted (robotised) manual gearbox, a true sports car under the pretty body.
The auto gave it a wet sump engine, and the auto gearbox bolted behind the engine, it lost its true sports car underpinnings.
The GT being no different to the QP when an auto.
Whether the average driver on public roads would notice the difference however.
That is why I love the 42/GS so much, underneath its a true sports car with dry sump/rear mounted gearbox etc with wishbone suspension/adjustable spring platforms. As a Mechanical engineer I can spend hours just looking at the underside!

I like how every so often, someone tries to make a serious point and bring this back on topic!

Don't worry about it, he was sold on QP before he even got here. Buy whatever one you fancy mate, they're all magic. If the one you missed out on does show up at a dealership, our Andy will spot it within 30 secs of going online and we'll all avoid buying it and bombarde them with spam enquiries.

Let's get on with the pi$$ taking. ;)
