There was a program on the tv a while ago about this.

If I remember correctly it's an American horse. Sea biscuit?

I would have to google to name it but i assume its the father of Nijinsky or Grandfather. I think Najinski was Canadian if that helps somebody get the answer.

Northern Dancer won the Kentucky Derby in 64 and many other races but then went on to sire such greats as Nijinsky, The Minstrel, Shareef Dancer, Secreto, El Gran Señor all classic winners in their own right . Because of the number of winners he sired his stud fee was $1m a pop.
