Custom decat pipes for Granturismo. Will they cause problems?

Ah, ok, thankyou. Ill see if I can find any high quality sports cats that could be built in and still keep the pipes cheap enough to be worth choosing over Larini. We used to sell high flow sport cats pipes for £129 complete with gaskets, nuts and bolts. I know its a £100k car but it annoys me...

Custom decat pipes for Granturismo. Will they cause problems?

Ive been looking at the Larini sport cats for my GTS but can get custom made straight through pipes made for a fraction of the cost. Does anyone know if a straight through replacement would cause issues with engine management faults showing on the dash?

    Track tyres / setup

Was going to say the same thing, R888s will overheat very quickly on a Maserati. DZ03s are a better choice. Pagid pads are also very good, RS29s.

    'Twang' from rear of GT

The car is booked back in with the supplying dealer for Thursday. Was originally going to take it tomorrow but they only have mundane stuff as a courtesy car (BMW etc) so Ill hold off until Thursday to get the chance to try something a little more interesting. A late Stradale hopefully :)

    4.7 GT or DB9

I had a DB9 for a few days. You know they say never meet your hero? Was a very disappointing experience. Went well enough but interior build quality wasn't the best, the rear seats are a non event and the handling was awful. Understeer on a whole new level. That big heavy V12 slung out front...

    'Twang' from rear of GT

Back in the UK. It's only when the right hand rear suspensions under load (i.e. whilst cornering left). The car is going back to Bowkers on Tuesday. My money's on anti roll bar or the drop links. The rider height on that corner hasn't dropped so its not a completely failed spring but it could...

    'Twang' from rear of GT

Ok, thanks. I initially thought it was a poorly seated spring and was hoping a bit of spirited driving would reseat it. It didn't. It then occurred to me that hard cornering trying to rectify a suspension fault might not be too wise if it was, in fact, not a slightly dislocated spring! I then...

    'Twang' from rear of GT

This evening my GT has developed a 'twang' type noise from the o/s rear. Sounds like a spring releasing tension. I've had the car for a good few weeks now with no sounds or noises until this evening when it went from being perfect to 3 loudish and slightly alarming 'twangs' and a number of...
