Hello,
I have an 06 GranSport with Cel light on/car has no power over 4k.
Comes up as follow

p1151 accelerator pedal potentiometer 2 potentiometer 2 position value inconsistent with potentiometer 1 position and throttle position voltage value low wiring / component intactness check p1189 accelerator pedal potentiometer potentiometer 1 position value inconsistent with potentiometer 2 position and throttle position voltage value not plausible wiring / component intactness check

I have a coupe parts car, Swapped Throttle Pod sensor, Cleared code and performed the following relearn
turned ignition on for 2 mins 12 sec, turned off.
turned ignition back on held throttle down for 30 secs, released pedal, turn ignition off.

test drove, same symptoms. Cel light back on.

this seems to be a common issue. but not having any luck getting this fixed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance

Any 3rd party modules fitted to the pedal pot loom ? Formula Dynamics had a pot performance module that could be fitted to pot wiring loom. If it fails then changing pots would not cure.
If no module then you need to check wiring / connectors from pots to ECU. Also voltages.
Maybe pots in throttle body ? As fault codes suggest correlation between pedal and throttle body.

Regards

Hey Steve,
No 3rd party module. all stock. I could try swapping throttle body. Thanks for response, I will keep updates in case anybody else runs into similar issue.

Update
After a year I finally got around to solving the issue. Pulled up live data and I noticed no signal on potentiometer #2. After finally getting a wiring schematic I was able todo a pin out test and had nothing coming out of the PCM. Pulled the man connector out and found a bent pin on the PCM. Straighten it out and she’s alive! This is how I bought the car.
Special thanks to Jason from Enzo’s garage and Hayden Edward.
