Whats a good 02 car 20k.....depends on damage but about 8/10k..What do you think.

If it's a bang and spin with only limited chassis damage I could see it going to 9.5K.

If you reckon £8,000/£9,000 and it takes £18,000 to repair that makes it a very expensive Spyder for the year

Yeah, I don't understand that either...
Current bid is 6.1, PAV is 20 and repair is 18...doesn't add up,
maybe the repair is not really 18?

Well maybe it would cost that through a dealer but the likes of Loz would be able to shave quite a bit off that by doing much of the prep work himself. Even so a 2002 Spyder isnt worth much more that £18k to £20k so not much margin in this project and at the end of the day it would still be a repaired cat D

It'll sadly be a breaker I would think. £8-10K ought to return a profit as long as whoever gets it can turn a good proportion of the parts.

Call me old fashioned but I would rather play safe and buy the right car in the first place. There are too many possibilities of a disaster with this car.

It certainly looks that way from the pics...First I though it wasn't that bad then when you see the wheels..God knows what going on under the car..

It's probably worth a fair bit for spares....My M3 CSL was worth around 26k when I sold but if you sold all the bits for spares it was worth more which is mad....

You need to sell everything though Andy. It's a small audience for a Spyder, so I reckon probably at least 50 percent obsolescence.

Yes agree Miles...With the CSL all that carbon fibre was worth loads....the two front seats alone was around 4k...bumper front 4k, back 3k..thats getting on half the money before you start talking engine, wheels etc...

what did you sell the CSL for, surely that has to be the best car you have ever owned?
