Paul's car is lovely and been cared for by Emblem since he bought it. I know he has spent a fortune keeping it tip-top including the small things like the bushes and engine mounts.
It is a whole lot of car for the money but to keep them well you are looking at a potential of 10%of the car's value each year hence why big motors are so cheap when over six years old.

No pain...no gain ;) It's only money Dave....can't take it with you.

I could keep my 2011 XJ for not much money....to many options!

Yeah I know, but it was painful last time!!

It's probably a bit early for me but so tempted!!!
Wonder how much a Maserati tow bar is!!!!

I know it was a bit painful last time...you weren't the luckiest there. Wouldn't have been so bad if you had kept it but hey ho.

It is a bit early for me as well really I should keep the XJ for another year really use it & try to get into a ZF Sport GT or GTS next year.

I find it hard to say no when something so beautiful catches my eye. Luckily I only have these thoughts about cars and not women.

Hypothesising and man maths, and lots of what ifs!!!!!

Need my holiday to hurry up and get here as I spend far too much time looking at cars, seen some eye watering 4200 prices today - one at £28k!!!!

Indeed...too much time is not good. I'm glad I've got little of it! I'd be in serious trouble otherwise.

Nice to see some strong 4200 prices. I'd certainly not sell my 4200 for £28k or less.

When/where you off on hols?

Week Tuesday,
Cruise from Palma around to Gibraltar, Tangiers, couple of spots in Spain and back to Palma,
Just a week, not done a cruise before but it's a mates 50th so thought would give it a bash.

This is well worth posting again...

Paul's QP is now the cheapest on Autotrader and anyone who has seen her knows she is a beauty....Anyone looking for one nees to take a look I would say....

http://www2.autotrader.co.uk/classi...searchad=new,nearlynew,used&logcode=p&adPos=1

If my cashflow was a tad 'quicker' I'd be on it like a shot, it's exactly what I'm after. I'm waiting for my classic Jag to sell then I'll be able to pounce on a good QPV. I've looked at the Autotrader ad several times but didn't twig that it belongs to Paul.

Sounds very nice...enjoy. You might be one of the youngest there.

Maybe an indecent proposal with an old dear to give you a million quid & a garage full of Maser's!

Where did you see the 4200 at £28k?

Top money for a 2005 private sale with 3 previous owners. Makes mine £35k ;) Not sure they are up to these levels. Maybe the AT car is £25k-£26k worth maybe £28k at a dealer.

Will be interesting to see what it goes for. Not a forum members cars is it?

Nope, imho opinion, nowhere near as good as mine and it won't sell any where near that!

Its not going to get 28k. Mine is a 2007 and similar spec and similar milage when i bought it and it was nowhere near 28k just over 15 months ago.

The description says ferrari blue instrument cluster. Its actually a maserati racing colour from the 1920's or there abouts.

Im not knocking the car i like the colour combo. It seems some of the pictures are a few years old too. Have a look at the link below. Those seats have done another 10k miles since those pictures were taken

Looks like it was sold last between mid 2012 and june 2013.

Still up on AT......but then adverts run until they run out unless they are told to take them off.......At the price Paul has put her up for I cannot imagine it would take too long to sell...Also has the X pipe on her I believe.
