Back in 1983 when i passed mine , i got an instant £12k rise altho i was due for a small increase anyway but came away well pleased , so push for whatever you can , it automatically places you in a position that they can send you anywhere to run another regions transport , i used to get sent all over to locum for sick/holliday leave
