No worries Jeeves, I can always pick up my car and go back there, but I fear a headache that day for some reason????

Hi All,

I've just checked with Ace Cafe and we have a couple of benches reserved for us on Saturday afternoon so that we can all sit together.

I've also spoken to Villa D'Este and they propose the following...

Fixed price per person of £35.00 (£25.00 for Loz and Kaz as they're not having starters) to include starters, main courses, side dishes, coffee, dessert and service.
If you like, we could add another £10.00 per head, which would effectively be a bar tab. They will keep an eye on it and let us know if and when it's running out.
With 22 / 23 diners, this would be a £200+ bar tab, which should be enough?
Cash or card payment is fine, though one or both of the above will obviously simplify the whole payment process.

What are your thoughts?....

Let me know as soon as possible so that I can organise things appropriately.

Thats good news about the weather.I was keeping my options open for saturday. Either park up near the Ace cafe, and bring the car round, or park at the hotel, and blow the cob webs out up the A40. get some wind in my helmet, ahem, so to speak. I know which I'd rather do. 26 miles should be fun.

Here I am ..... been working away not sure if I will be back in time, if I am will try and join you at the ACE and then in the bar before and after the meal (will join you for the meal if there is space and I am back) but do not worry about trying to reserve anythng for me will just play it by ear.... hope to see you lot Sat...

So shall we go for it then?

£35.00 without drinks and £45.00 with drinks? (except Loz and Kaz) We can have a quick count up on the night to see what the bar tab is when we sit down.

count us both out for drinks miles, ill have a glass of wine and then mrs will be going bed early so ill stay at the bar getting ****** all night......
