I was thinking pull the rear bench, lay them under there, put the bench back on then cover in bags?

Mine are here too but ill make the call nearer the time. I do however need one 20l can to make sure I get to Le Mans.

I may pull the bench too. im taking some . Is there a void big enough under there ? i think i will take 2 cans . if theres fuel then we just use them instead of going to the fuel station

No, your rear seat base will then sit up 20cm higher, hence covering it in bags. You will get 2 under there.

The problem you have is if they pull you. the car will smell of fuel.

You need to fill them up a week in advance and leave them outside in the rain and wind so as not to stink the car out.

So where do we stand?

When you drive into Dover, you go through passport then you can get pulled at that garage where the UK police/border force will inspect you car. Carrying fuel is not illegal its the ferry companies that make their own policies.

Its for "A" glove Dan . That is why its not called a "Gloves" box on a Lotus
