Is 'toss his salad' a euphemism of the sort where I do not want the imagery in my head?

My GS should be back from Autoshield in time. It needs a new PAS radiator (they all seem to be failing lately!) and an oil leak from the front engine cover caused by a failed gasket sorted as well as the service. Not looking forward to this bill, but haven't had a wallet-emptying experience since the clutch 3 years ago.

Yikes! I had that done at the same time as the clutch. Good luck, MAF.

That's the down side with these engines being shoehorned into a relatively small bay , about half of it needs stripping down to access and sort the leak. Build them properly in the first place with decent gaskets Maserati!

I wouldn't have liked your invoice! The labour alone on the oil leak is around £800. I could have bought coilovers for the Porsche with that cash :(

Had that same one with Doris at one point. The labour is eye-watering to fit a £10 gasket!

Jeez Maf. I thought the £20 and 2.5 hours labour for the cam cover gasket was bad. Must be 8 hrs labour, so an engine drop required. May as well go the whole hog and get the cam cover gaskets and spark plugs done. It's only money after all!

Cam cover gaskets being done at the same time and cam covers possibly being repainted in red crackle paint if there's enough time. Plugs were done recently, that saves me £200!

I see that the French have now started striking at the ports today , Coupled with the fuel barricade and the floods may be a new stratagy is required .

Benny, can you call up your mates in the RAF and see if you can have us air dropped directly into the Harlequin ?

Well, this year is looking like its going to be an adventure so say the least!

Well make it, it will be like a Top Gear challenge....smuggle fuel into france undercover in 400hp noise machines, plotting your way through bars
