No need; they are well used to the sound of German artillery so they'll soon get used to the Italian version.

Ok, it appears you have had the cheeky answers, here is the the sensible one, you decide if you have time:

Day one:

Meet 7am at burger bar on top of Portsdown Hill:



Ferry port for 8am, leaves at 9am



Ferry arrives in Cherbourg at 1pm, lunch booked in Anse du Brick 15 mins up the road, where I have eaten before and has a stunning beach.

Leave for Fourgeres at 4pm, arrive 6.30



Quick change and head to the restaurant/bars (TBC) till the wee hours

Awake at 9am with the mother of all hangovers, the distant sound of Damo redecorating his room, to have breakfast and get on the road by noon.

Lol Mav pushing poor Nancy's trolley dolley with puke all over it and asking Chris if he could drive his car to Le Mans An expensive night for both of them! I'm not sure Chris was in any fitter state than John to drive considering he collapsed a few times and fell out of bed about 5 !!!
