4200 Front Splitter?

From another thread ( http://www.sportsmaserati.com/showthread.php/6474-Alternative-4200-wheels?)

I noted a comments that Safrane liked LeoNardo's front splitter. Other comments suggest that the front splitter was seriously expensive. From my other thread it is clear that i'd like to do something to the front of the car.

I think this front splitter does look great, but I fear it may cost a small fortune.

Deatils here: http://www.dimex-group.com/fileadmin/images/content/leo_nardo/productlist/Leo_Nardo_Catalogue.pdf

Does anyone know of any other options?

Thanks

Thanks MAF but that is a whole new bumper and I don't think is very in-keeping.

This is a picture of the LeoNardo one that I presume fits onto the original bumper. I think it looks very nice.

I like the look of that navy spyder, looks quite muscular. Not a massive fan of the style of wheels, but like the size and the way they sit in the arches.

There are a few, whether you can buy them though?
A year ago I did drop an email to the dimex group but got no reply, maybe worth a phone call, although not a great fan of the gob wide open facelift/GS, the spoiler on the Classico Spyder does look rather nice.

Somebody please remove all internet connections from Ross's phone, laptop etc!!! We are going to save you hundreds of pounds :)

Just kidding mate, LeoNardo does some serious work, but it's all expensive....aka 20000 euros for the bi-kompressor kit for the 4200..Anyone interested???

Love the Leo Nardo range....but as you say not cheap but it is a quality item from the bits I've seen on the flesh.......I did have a price list some years ago and I'm sure the front spoiler bit was arouns 2k but I could be wrong...That was around 7 years ago as well.

Is anyone good at photo shop, if so. Could some please photoshop a Gransport front splitter on to a 4200.

Thanks,
R

Thanks, somehow i missed that.

The LeoNardo one is nicer, but I think a GS splitter would be more affordable. In that photo, I think the fact it is the wrong colour does not help.

I wonder how much it would cost to have a fibre glass manufacture to make a mould and a small run of splitters similar to the splitter shown ,would need a second hand front bumper etc , may be a run of 10 to 20 may work out at £250 to £300 each Iam only guessing but maybe worth a call to some one . What does every one think ?

Mav - if you want to take the lead on this I can tell you for £200-250 for a front splitter I am in. (important to also take into account the costs of paintwork).

What style would you try and do, the Leonardo, or, the Gransport?

I agree with the height - maybe get someone with a completely standard GS to measure distance from level flat surface road to bottom of splitter.

Hi Ross
The Leonardo one for me or a near as without getting into copyright and all that , I did a bit of research the other day and found a company in Sussex that looked promising , would still need to get hold of a front bumper though or at least borrow one for mock up . I'll fire a email to them and see want there come back with .

Finding a spare front bumper may prove difficult.

What about Chris Basset recently damaged one which is being fixed at Autoshield.
