Just take the 'plates off GC, the the ANPR won't be able to get you.

I've used this trick to get free parking for years in car parks that I can drive the Lotus under the barrier... works for speed cameras too, apparently.

As much as this appeals, it took me hours getting the plates off with the sticky pads being a right pain in the ar5e! I wouldn't want to go through that again!

I will indeed, we'll have to have our own Beemer meet out in the street. Whilst taking it in turns to watch out for sliding Lexus's (Lexi?)

I second this opinion, much less suspicious than the duck tape approach.

You will get chased by all sorts of disgruntled drug dealers and hookers, and probably the guy from his local off license if they see the plate, not worth the risk!

Matt, they're funny in France because the local plod don't understand what 1M 4 C11NT means, but I don't think it's fair to offer them to GC here in the UK
