Anyway back on topic ish!!
I invested some of my pension (old private one) into a SIPP. It has like most shares bombed but a couple are really coming good and they are in the Oil exploration sector. One has millions TCF of gas and the other is a junior in Ireland who have had the first oil discovery in Nevada for years. They are currently delisted at the moment since the GXG market has closed plus shareholders have lost a little confidence in the BOD since they are taking an age to prove the discovery. I have been in many an oil shared before (Rockhopper, DES, FOGL, Range Resources, Xtract, Xcite) and made some decent returns but this one could be the next Dana Petroleum (google them and Tom cross if you don't know the story) and make a fortune when/if they are sold off (1 Billion barrels of light sweet crude recoverable P50) and have the likes of Halliburton interested.
Anyone else invested? I have chance to buy more shares via an offering but am in two minds about it based on past history (shares hit £7 now down to under a pound before exiting platform). I think that often these things are too good to be true but I keep coming back to this one for some reason.
