Got in the QPV today for the first time in a few days and started up fine. Then the EPB warning light came on (car had not moved and the EPB was not engaged.) the kilometer sign in bottom rhs of the display disappeared completely and the clock had gone back an hour, by itself.
So I engaged EPB, stopped the engine, waited and started the engine again and released EPB.
The km sign came back at 0 and the date had disappeared from the display replaced by a horizontal line. More worryingly the ABS alarm came on and went out again. I still had not moved at this point.
So I went for a short drive and all was well.
Put it back in the garage and turned it off. Checked the battery volts and they were fine but I put the trickle charger on just in case.
3 hours later went back disconnected the trickle and put ignition on (did not start the car)
I reset the date but could not reset the time as the first field (forget what it is called (time base?) was blue and inaccessible. I have found I need to un tick this field before I can set the time properly. Then as I looked at it wondering what to do it changed from Blue to Orange and I had access to the field. I un ticked it, then selected time (the next field) and set the clock. I then ticked the time base again. There is still an offset between the digital time which is correct and the analogue clock which is annoyingly a few minutes out.
Turned ignition off and waited.
A few minutes later I started the car no problem and all was well. I have left the EPB on and will take it out tomorrow for a drive about.
