Just realised that yours, Dave, is the 4th Shamal I know of in Dorset. So we must have about 20% of the UK cars!

Hi Ewan
Well done on the purchase, the shamal is a great car, I have a rhd one as well and I live in Dorset perhaps we could meet and takes some pics of the cars together one day.

Oh happy days!

This afternoon I finally agreed the deal on the blue Shamal at Emblem, and weather permitting I'll pick her up on Saturday. For those that don't know it, here's the link:

Of course, she'll look even more stunning parked next to my matching blue Ghibli.

I thought about this purchase long and hard, but using my best man-maths, decided that having three Maserati in the garage was 50% better than having only two:)

Ewan the Shamal is stunning - I love these cars, and the colour of your's is the best.

How different is the driving experience to the 3200?

As the advert states - the car really stands out from the crowd!

I'll have to get back to you on the driving experience Simon. I've not driven a 3200 since I sold my last one in about 2003 and haven't even collected the Shamal yet! But the driving position is certainly more suited to me than is the case with the Cup.

Well done Ewan. I have been pondering this one for a while but the drive to have an open cup is toooooo! strong so my search continues. It is a wonderful car hope she give you years of happy ownership.

Congratulations (even though it was over a year ago!!). In the unlikely event you should ever decide to part with her……! (no, seriously)

Incidentally, how much is an immaculate RHD low mileage Shamal worth these days - are we approaching £100k yet?
