ok then!

Saturday 10th June.

Shall we do some food?

will I ask if the hotel at Blair can take us all for a dinner?

what time would be cool for people? 19:00??

Is that late enough to be a possibility LeeH..?

19:00 suits me, but earlier might be better if there are people coming from further away?

Any time after about 2pm suits me :)

Sounds like the plan is coming together nicely. Same with me, any time from 2 onwards sounds good.

Hi Jim - thought it best, with regret, to step back soon rather than later. Had hoped, following the weekend, I'd know more but it's unlikely I will before the 10th. Only fair to others and the restaurant not to waste a space at the table. A real disappointment for me chaps as I was very much looking forward to meeting up with you all. Another time soon hopefully and hope you all have a great day.

I'm out too i'm afraid. The car is being detailed on Saturday pre-Le Mans and as I'm away for 8 days for that trip, I don't fancy pushing the wife too far with another trip. Will see some of you at the Erskine show or maybe also at Ignition Festival (which is great, if you didn't go last year).

Shame but as you say, might be pushing your luck ;)
Will see you at erskine, not made my mind up about the 3 days at ignition yet.

I've never even heard of the Erskine of Ignition shows!

But, never mind- shame you can't make it you guys...

I was thinking to leave Edinburgh just after 15:00, so it would be able 16:30 / 17:00, before I make it up there...

Lets wait for a bit more feedback from other folk who are coming, before rounding down on an exact time for dinner...

Was hoping to meet a bit earlier than back of 4 but count Fiona and I in.
Erskine show is a charity event for erskine hospital (ex servicemen) this year being run by tartan Tarmac at the braehead arena, an indoor event complex attached to a shopping arcade, should be a top show.
Ignition is the biggest car event in Scotland probably, runs over 3 days in and around the secc with some closed roads for driving displays as well as indoor static display areas. See link

I have to say I would prefer an earlier start. 2 and a half hour drive home in a 26 year old car at night wth the dodgy lights on the car isn't something I relish. I know it is light until way after 11pm but it is a long day out from here as well.

Yup, 15.00 better.......just need the weather to be kind since I would not be heading down the A9 if it is heavy rain but should have a better idea by Thursday/Friday on that account.
