Yup, 15.00 better.......just need the weather to be kind since I would not be heading down the A9 if it is heavy rain but should have a better idea by Thursday/Friday on that account.

+1
There is also a small chance I may have to head South to collect a new car but again will know by mid week.

sounds exciting!

Yeah- the weather is looking to be a bit on & off, isn't it?

Let's see how it develops- if it's any better than THIS, then it'll be an improvement!

Right.

"hangon"

The conditions on Saturday, for our destination, have gone from on-off rain with sunshine, to double-rain between 13:00 & 16:00.

At which point it reverts to on-off rain with sunshine at 19:00.

Would anyone like to delay for a week..?

I think from the availability denoted by folk who said they would make it, this is still okay, not withstanding hidden plans of course... It 'may' even mean further people could attend...

Don't get me wrong- I am still TOTALLY up for it, but am wondering if others would prefer the option...?

The revised date would be Saturday 17th...

(we might even get a seat in the restaurant!)

[I shall try and PM this to everyone who has said they would attend, shortly]

If you delay to the end of the month, I'll be able to make it. Can't do this weekend, off to Le Mans on Monday then could do a meet after that.

Any day suits, but it is Scotland. We could have all seasons in one day! The following weekend may be worse.

I can do the 17th, and would rather it's not really wet, so imo, it's probably worth the weather gamble and waiting an extra week - as long as others can do the same of course!

Allan does have a point though ;)

yeah- its true;

it could be locusts on the 17th!

We could wait for more opinions; and take a vote tomorrow...?

I don't really believe everything I see forecast, but in light of recent 'weather', the forecast has been reasonably accurate. It could still change...

Would not matter if the sun was bursting the sky, I am out for this week anyway. Went in today to find out the manager who was meant to be doing the report for committee next Tuesday is off sick and has not even started it so guess who is dumped with a weekend pulling together the report? :(
17th might be goer. We are down in Glasgow on the 18th to see Andy fairweather low so will look at an extra night maybe?

ok then!

Saturday 10th June.

Shall we do some food?

will I ask if the hotel at Blair can take us all for a dinner?

what time would be cool for people? 19:00??

Is that late enough to be a possibility LeeH..?

Slight issue I now have is they are shutting the road every night from Glenshee south for about 4 miles for resurfacing and whilst I can get out to Pitlochry before they shut it ( I think ) I won't be able to get home that way, which means a BIG detour home to Braemar... :-(

That's a grave shame LeeH- I wonder if significant progress will have been made in a week..?-

Okay Needamaser- I guess thats you out too then; which Is a shame as I was looking forward to taking your dash apart to retrieve the AC controller!

So Gents,

the consensus is to delay a week, then, is that correct..?

(we might even get seats in the restaurant then!)

Agree about cancelling tomorrow looking at the forecast but I can't do next weekend. Let me know if it slips further.

what date is that, Ourtrun...?

https://www.erskine.org.uk/event/classiccarshow/

We are all indoors which makes a pleasant change for car shows. Lots of shops and Ikea for female non petrolheads as well which is a bonus. Again usually a grassy field in middle of nowhere. Should be good. Entrants have a "drivers" area where refreshments are available. Whether car arrives in a clean condition though is another matter.
