Issue 240 of Auto Italia is running an article on the 3200GT vs the 4200 GranSport. The 3 cars featured are my automatic 3200 (the blue one in the background), a silver manual 3200 and a red 4200 GranSport. It's on sale 6th January.

That should be interesting, hopefully it will start of unbiased, well researched and not an advert for certain garages.

Apologies for incorrect naming of GranSport model - I'm just an ignorant 3200 owner:whocares:

I guess it was my idea - Auto Italia is actually going to feature my Fiat Coupe restoration as well in a future issue, and I suggested to Phil Ward that they should do something on the 3200 as it's a much-maligned car:). I don't know what their conclusion will be re. 3200 v 4200 etc., but the writer enjoyed driving my car, especially when I turned on Sport mode & encouraged him to give it some beans.

I guess I should have said the February edition of Auto Italia - the January edition has just dropped through my letterbox, and it's all Lamborghini Espadas.

Fail!

BTW there is a nice feature on the QPV in this months "Modern Classics" magazine that is well worth a read. Great new magazine too!
