I'm sure they'll be fine, but let me fit them first, then I'll post it on the alternatives thread.

I have seen these on all sorts over the years, but for £3 cheap as chips..!!

Not sure if there's a little friendly sarcasm there but actually not just £3 as I may as we'll replace all 3 while I'm at it, then add on some delivery cost, throw in a bit of VAT and it's now £15.
Still it's cheaper than £200+ for the pump. I just hope this solves my problem.

Not at all mate, I'm a big believer in not paying extortionate prices if you can get stuff at realistic prices and that price sounds spot on for a low price fix..!!

After the rebuild and a replacement of the oil pressure sensor the noise was back with a vengeance, but as before it suddenly went and didn't come back again when I started it warm. As explained in the oil pressure sensor thread, the oil can drain back when this is replaced so confirms my thought of oil starvation somewhere.
I've read on here somewhere how to replace the oil feed pipes but can't find the post. Does anyone know where it is? I've searched for what I believe to be the obvious.
Btw I've seen an excellent video of starting the engine and bypassing the oil accumulator with a clear hose. This shows the oil being pumped from the left hand side to the right(sitting in the car). Therefore the accumulator must be there to lubricate only the right hand head at startup as it will need to go against the flow to lubricate the left.

Great news. Started it up after 4 days and no noise. Maybe I have solved it!
