And underpants to remove "brown stuff"
To be fair with Geoff's interior you really wouldn't notice!
And underpants to remove "brown stuff"
Having had a near miss with MAF yesterday, I think I'll change my pads to Yellow Stuff.
Is it worth doing front and rear or just the fronts?
Yep all 3 sets I've done have been the same too. Not sure how MAF got his in without a little fettling.
I spent a lot of time cleaning the calipers up and really clearing the muck out of the pad guides. With tolerances this tight it makes a big difference.
Will try that next time, I know how anal you are so I might not have 2 weeks to do each caliper!
Do both so you have the same compound all round.
SM Caliper Clean How to:
1. Remove calipers from car
2. Wait for the missus to go out
3. Remove dirty plates from dishwasher
4. Put calipers in dishwasher on hot wash
5. Remove callipers from dishwasher and refit to car
6. Put dirty plates back in dishwasher
7. Shrug shoulders when the missus complains the cutlery tastes weird

I'll get them ordered!
Is £200 (£194.88) for both sets delivered good value?
Yes, the new compound Redstuff are much better but once bitten ... However all EBC seem to be very dusty.
A mate of mine plumbed his old dishwasher into his garage for that exact reason.
He had a new kitchen put in with fitted units and as there was nothing wrong with the dishwasher it's now a parts cleaner.
Genius.
I don't mind dust, so long as it doesn't effectively weld itself to the alloys!
Given the price of a cheapo dishwasher from AO, it's almost worth buying a new one. I have to say, though, caliper seals on a hot wash? Are we sure?
C
the pads are every so slightly bigger and may need a little filing to get them into the calipers. Certainly this was true for the rears.
Even on max heat water is only going to be 100*...I am sure they get much hotter when pushing it on the roads.
