Two days to place final orders

This shocked me, but a lesson to Alfa, if you put a **** engine in it and make it handle like a barge, not even the loyalist of Alfa fans will buy it:

Its a shame as the car looks beautiful....so might we see something to replace it soon?

Lets hope they come up with something good really soon.

As a big Alfa fan I was really disappointed with them when test driven despite the great looks from ther exterior. Too heavy and the interior IMHO was just not "special" enough for Alfa.

Can't really put my finger on it.

Anyway, Forza Alfa!

Fingers crossed.

WOW thats a shock.....Sales must be really bad......Remember thinking when I drove the Brera that my old GTV V6 felt faster and more agile....But then it was the last of the great Alfa V6...

brera had no followers, thats reason you can get 1 for £10k where a good v6 gtv 10 years old will be £6k

thats what the 2.2 did so thats wrong, i put £20 in drove normal and it did 60 miles

bloody ****, i am only going by what magazines quote, so they bullsh1t, the 3.2 would do about 17. In evo magazine, Harry Metcalfe gets that from his Zonda.

yeah, i also couldn't help notice the 3.2 does about 22 to the gallon on a combined.

When I had the Alfa GT 3.2 V6 the best I could manage as an average between mainly town driving and the odd blast in the country was around 16mpg. As for the demise of the Brera I am not at all surprised.

Agree with a lot of what has been said in this thread.
It is heavy and thristy. Granted, it could have been a LOT faster if it didn't weigh in at 1700kg.

Hi Cavalier and welcome to the forum......The Brera as you say has great curb appeal and everytime I see one I want one...Heart over mind as usual with Alfa.
