Just thinking about the logistics for me for this event. It is on a Saturday? I will probably leave London after work and drive up halfway and stay at a holiday inn or something. Is there somewhere nice to stay after the event nearby? Will people be sticking around? Don't fancy a 2.5hr drive home immediately after. Prefer to stay the night and make my way home leisurely the next day.

Yes, we are planning a meal AFTER the event too on Saturday evening, for the people who are either local and don't want to leave straight after, or like you don't fancy a long drive home after a full-on day. I have a GastroPub in mind...


Probably a good time to ask for numbers on the Saturday night meal.. A few people have indicated they are up for this; who's interested?
