I have been chatting to my neighbor who works for Tesla and made her aware of this event last week. Their UK office is currently negotiating with the organizer to bring a couple of cars to this event - including a version of the 4 door that does 0-60 in 2.8 seconds.

If Emma and the team do make it, please ask for a go - I'm sure it will be fun

Going back a few years, Tesla had three industrial units in Wymondham. Properly quick things and it's really strange seeing a car accelerate that quickly with virtually zero noise. There was an unfortunate incident where one of their American colleagues forgot to apply the handbrake in his VW Scirocco hire car. It rolled down the slope of their drive, crossed the road, over a low wall and almost ended up in my office. The driver used our phone to call the hire company. I nearly choked with laughter when he said "I'm having a little trouble with the car". The whole building shook on impact and we had to have pretty much the whole front rebuilt. Luckily, nobody was injured, but it could have been much worse.

someone mentioned this to me the other day and I might be able to do it. Without reading a load of pages, are you short of cars?

I reckon there will be quite a few of us there with louder music than standard - our combined symphony should hopefully get the punters rolling in. Last year a guy waited for 90 minutes to go in my car because he heard it earlier in the day and decided he had to have a passenger ride!

Guess I will be sat all day waiting for a punter who wants a slow really quiet touring ride!!!

Have a request for the Brunty lot.....We need a white board for the entrance of the gate. I have one but cannot fit it in the car...Has anyone got one that would fit in the car that we could borrow for the day........

Also anyone that hasn't been before that would like someone who has been before to go out with them on the first sighting lap please let me know so we can plan before hand.

Thanks....

Happy to sight anyone Andy, especially as I'm not brining my car in for the early session but will be there all day.
